Allie Capital, LLC was born from the desire to develop real estate that flows along with the needs of communities in North and South Carolina. After a lengthy career in real estate development with the likes of Marriott International, co-owner Steve Mudge had a conversation with former Clemson football teammate and local entrepreneur Leighton Cubbage about what their respective “next acts” might be. The real estate market was hot at the time, and Greenville was in a great place for developers looking to add to the growing landscape. The friends began to develop single-family housing in Upstate SC and Western NC, eventually creating a unique condo-hotel on the shores of Lake Hartwell in their beloved Clemson. With the Clemson area continuing to grow exponentially and workforce demands making new housing a necessity, Allie and its partners recently have broken ground on a 296-unit, garden-style apartment complex in Pendleton, just down the road from Clemson.
