Leighton Cubbage, Chairman

A recognized leader and corporate visionary in Greenville, Leighton’s entrepreneurial background includes founding roles in multiple successful telecom companies, Southern First Bank, Community Journals, and Allie Capital, LLC. A graduate of Clemson University and the Advanced Management Program at UNC Chapel Hill, his vision and pursuit of excellence have resulted in honors such as South Carolina Entrepreneur of the Year, INC 500 #128, Clemson University Spiro Entrepreneurial Institute Hall of Fame, Boy Scouts of America’s regional Man of the Year and an appointment by the Governor to the chairmanship of the SC Venture Capital Authority. Additional board involvement includes Southern First Bank, Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Greenville Technical College Foundation and two terms as Chairman for the Greenville Hospital System.

Stephen “Steve” Mudge, President

With more than 40 years of real estate experience, Steve has earned a reputation for adding value to assets in both the public and private sectors. His corporate leadership roles include serving as Co-Founder and President of Allie Capital, LLC; EVP of Mixed-Use Development for Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company; VP of Planning and Development for Centex Destination Properties; and VP of Project Management for Greg Norman & Macquarie Bank’s Medalist Golf Development. Steve was appointed by the Governor of SC to the Santee Cooper Board of Directors and currently serves as Vice Chair for the state’s utility company, which serves over 2 million customers. Steve is also a 30+ year member of the Urban Land Institute, an organization that sets standards of excellence in real estate development practice.
